Welcome From Captain Deeba

Dear Citizens,

Being a United States Marine and a 28-year veteran of this Department, I am extremely honored to serve you and my fine officers assigned to the Second District. I have never seen such involvement with all of my neighborhoods with one goal in mind: to make St. Louis the safest place to live!

Please know that I, along with all of the officers assigned to the Second District, will continue to serve and protect you in the utmost professional manner. My district is only as strong as the fine residents who support us and stay engaged. I urge everyone to contact me, or one of my command staff, if you need any assistance.

To end, please help me support the growth and interaction between my police officers and the residents we serve. When you have a moment and you see a police officer, try and make it a point to say hello and thank them for their service. I, in turn, promote this interaction and ask my officers on a daily basis to do the same. Together, a strong community and the police officers that serve them are able to tackle any issue that presents itself.

Respectfully,
Captain Michael Deeba
Commander, Second District
