Lieutenant Colonel Ronnie Robinson

Lt. Col. Ronnie Robinson joined the Metropolitan Police Department as a Police Officer on April 30, 1990. He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in November of 1999. As a Sergeant, he served in the Intelligence Division.

Lt. Col Robinson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in February of 2005. He served in the Third District, Juvenile Division, and Crime Suppression Unit. In January of 2009, Lt. Col. Robinson was promoted to the rank of Captain. He served as the Commander of the Second District and the Special Operations Unit. In January 2013, Lt. Col. Robinson was promoted to the rank of Major and assigned as the Commander of the North Patrol Division.

On September 30, 2015, Lt. Col. Robinson was promoted to his current rank. He has been assigned to the Office of the Assistant Chief of Police, Bureau of Community Outreach, North Patrol Division, and the Bureau of Investigative Services as the Deputy Chief. He currently assigned to the Police Commissioner's Office.
