Welcome From Captain Latricia Allen

Citizens and Visitors of District 1,

My name is Latricia Allen and I have been serving this community through the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department for over 30 years. I also grew up in the Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood, so I sincerely understand this community and will align its needs with our duty to protect and serve.

Throughout my time in this Department, I have worked in and supervised a variety of units, including Intelligence Division, Housing Authority Unit, Sex Crimes, Child Abuse, & DART, as well as Community Engagement & Organizational Development. These assignments, along with my dedication to mentor those under my command, have prepared me to provide District 1 the best possible service.

I understand that citizens not only need protection and enforcement, but also dialogue and engagement. This is how we will be able to build a trusting and meaningful relationship that can successfully fight crime, evil, and injustice. I am optimistic this is possible as you have already taken the time to visit our page.

I genuinely look forward to meeting and working with all members of the community.
