On December 28, 2024 at approximately 4:44 pm, District 4 officers responded to an area hospital for a shooting prior.
When officers arrived, they spoke with an 18-year-old male who had been shot in his right side. The 18-year-old stated the shooting happened a little after noon around Blair and Penrose, but he delayed seeking medical help or reporting this incident because he believed he was only grazed by the bullet.
Detectives are investigating the facts surrounding this case.
