2 Men, Woman Robbed during Home Invasion in Patch Neighborhood

Note: This incident was inadvertently not included on the July 9 incident updates.

District 1 is investigation a home invasion that occurred on July 8 in the Patch neighborhood.

Shortly after 10:15 a.m., officers were called to a residence in the 600 block of Courtois for a hold up. Upon arrival, officers located an 81-year-old man, a 61-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman who were victims of this incident. The 81-year-old and 61-year-old men advised officers that they were inside the residence when two male suspects entered their unlocked rear door and flourished firearms. The victims said the suspects demanded and took their prescription medicine and a cell phone. The suspects then took the 66-year-old woman’s purse. The suspects fled the scene after the incident.

No injuries were reported during this incident. The investigation is ongoing.
