2010 Homicide Statistics

In 2010 the Metropolitan Police Department reported 144 UCR Homicides. In 2010, 93 homicide cases were cleared for a clearance rate of 65%. 67 of those homicides occurred in 2010 while 25 occurred in prior years. In 2010, of the 93 cleared homicides, warrants were issued in 43 of the cases for an issue rate of 46%.
