District 1 detectives are investigating a shooting that injured a 45-year-old man.
Officers responded to the 6700 block of Pennsylvania just after 1 a.m. on Saturday for a person shot.
When officers arrived on scene, they located a 45-year-old man who had been hit by gunfire. The victim said he was walking down Pennsylvania when he heard gunshots and felt pain.
The man was taken to the hospital where he is stable.
