An unidentified man is in critical condition after being located with gunshot wounds following an accident in the Mark Twain Neighborhood.
On March 21, 2026, at approximately 8:30 PM, District 6 officers responded to the 5000 block of West Florissant Ave for an accident. When they arrived, they located an adult male who had been shot inside of a red Buick Enclave. He was not conscious and barely breathing. The vehicle had been shot multiple times.
EMS arrived and conveyed they man to an area hospital where he was listed in critical, but stable condition.
A preliminary investigation shows the red Buick Enclave in the area of Halls Ferry and Gimblin prior to driving to the 5000 block of W. Florissant where it crashed.
