Homicide Detectives are investigating a shooting that left one woman dead, and another woman injured, on April 23, 2025.
At approximately 4:25 p.m., officers received a shooting call at a home in the 4100 block of Farlin Avenue. Upon arriving, they located a 35-year-old woman inside the residence not conscious and not breathing with a gunshot wound. A second victim, a 42-year-old woman, was located in the residence suffering from a gunshot wound and was conscious and breathing.
EMS responded and pronounced the 35-year-old woman dead at the scene. The 42-year-old woman was transported to the hospital for treatment.
