The SLMPD Housing Authority Unit is investigating a shooting that injured a man on July 1 in the Peabody Housing Complex.
The victim, a 50-year-old man, reported that he was walking in the common area of the housing complex in the 1400 block of Peabody Ct. when he observed a man armed with a handgun arguing with another male. The victim stated he then heard a gunshot and felt pain in both his ankles. The victim further reported that he did not see who shot him and if it was on purpose or accidental.
