On July 29, the Homicide Division was notified that the victim of this incident was pronounced deceased on July 29. He has been identified as 47-year-old Gustova Henton from St. Louis County, MO.
District 6 officers responded to an area hospital shortly after 1:00 a.m. on July 7, after a 47-year-old man had been shot and driven to the hospital by a 42-year-old woman.
The man had been shot in the stomach and was rushed into surgery.
The woman told officers she was inside of her residence when she heard gunshots and then screaming. She went outside and found the man, who is her brother, on the front porch of the residence.
The man told the woman he had been shot and she immediately drove him to the hospital for treatment.
He was listed in critical condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
