UPDATE: Shooting on Grace Leaves 1 Dead and 2 Others Injured

Update:

A 20-year-old male was taken into custody for at-large warrants on September 5 for the below incident. He has been charged by the Circuit Attorney’s Office with one count of Murder 1st, two counts of Assault 1st, and three counts of Armed Criminal Action.

Homicide detectives have identified the deceased victim as Denis Perez-Canales of St. Louis City, MO.

Original post on July 7 at 11:28 a.m.:

District 1 officers responded to a Shooting in the 4400 block of Grace just after 2:00 a.m. on July 7.

An unidentified man was found unresponsive with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by EMS.

A man and a woman, both in their 20s, arrived on their own at an area hospital. The woman had been shot in the leg and the man had been shot in the back.

Both were conscious and breathing when they arrived at the hospital.

The Homicide Division responded and assumed the ongoing investigation.
