District 5 officers responded to the 4500 block of Cottage, around 7:00 p.m. on July 13, for the report of a Robbery.
A 28-year-old man told officers that he responded to the 4600 block of Elmbank, in District 6, to meet a female acquaintance.
As he was walking in the block, he was approached by three men in dark clothing. One of the men was wearing a ski mask, two were armed with handguns, and one was armed with an AR-pistol.
The men announced a robbery and took cash, keys, credit cards, and the victim’s ID.
The 28-year-old man ran to the 4500 block of Cottage where he contacted this department.
The investigation is ongoing.
