District 6 is investigating a robbery wherein two juvenile males, 12 and 8 years old, were robbed on July 17 in the Penrose neighborhood.
The victims told officers that around 3:30 p.m., they were walking from a store in the 4600 block of Pope when they were approached by two unknown males believed to be in their late teens. One of the males produced a pistol and took a bag from the 12-year-old victim. Both suspects then fled from the scene. The victims responded home and reported the incident to their mother who then contacted police.
The victims were not injured. The investigation is ongoing.
