District 3 is investigating a shooting that injured a man on July 18 in the Gravois Park neighborhood.
Around 4 a.m., officers received a call for a shooting in the 3000 block of Miami. The victim, a 31-year-old man, was located with a gunshot wound(s). The victim reported that he was involved in a physical altercation with a known male when he heard gunshots. The victim said he then felt pain and realized he was struck.
EMS responded and transported the victim to the hospital where he was listed in critical/stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
