District 6 detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred on August 1 in The Greater Ville.
At approximately 5:45 p.m., officers were called to a local hospital after a 61-year-old man showed up with a gunshot wound to his knee. The victim told officers he was travelling in his car around 5 p.m. northbound on Cora from Natural Bridge when he heard gunshots and was struck. The victim was not able to identify any suspects. He was listed in stable condition.
