District 1 is investigating a carjacking that occurred on August 2 in the Holly Hills neighborhood.
Around 12:30 a.m., the victim contacted police and reported he was in the 900 block of Fillmore to pick up a fare. Upon arriving, the victim said three males entered his car and pointed a rifle at him while. The victim further stated one of the suspects demanded his cell phone and for him to get out of the car. The victim complied. The suspects then fled in the victim’s 2022 Subaru Legacy.
