District 3 is investigating a robbery incident that occurred on August 7 in the Gravois Park neighborhood.
The victim, a 29-year-old man, told officers at 1 p.m., he was in the 3400 block of Nebraska hanging out with a friend when another known male approached and confronted him about previous altercation. While arguing with that person, the victim said two separate male suspects drove up in a black sedan and exited the car. One of the suspects produced a handgun and took money and a necklace from the victim. The victim said he was then assaulted by a total of four males before the fight was broken up. All four males fled in the black sedan after the incident.
The victim sustained small lacerations and complained of pain. He was transported to the hospital for evaluation/treatment. The investigation remains ongoing.
