District 3 officers responded to a call for a Shooting in the 2700 block of St. Vincent around 5:00 p.m. on August 14.
A 56-year-old man told officers he was working on a vehicle parked on the street when he heard gunfire and realized he had been shot.
Preliminary investigation indicates that a man in a grey sedan fired shots at a red sedan and the 56-year-old man was struck by the gunfire. Both the grey sedan and red sedan fled the area.
EMS transported the 56-year-old man to an area hospital where he was listed in critical/stable condition.
