Homicide detectives are investigating a shooting that killed a 25-year-old male on September 2 in Downtown.
At 8:00 p.m., officers received a call for a shooting in the 1300 block of Cass. Upon arriving, they located the 25-year-old man in the parking lot of the Mobile Gas Station in the 1500 block of N. 13th Street. The man was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his abdomen. EMS responded and transported the man to an area hospital where he later died.
