Arrests Made After Man Shot on N. Grand

District 4 officers responded to a Shooting in the 2400 block of N. Grand just after 6:00 p.m. on September 28.

Officers found a 19-year-old man who had been shot. He told officers he was driving north on N. Grand when he was involved in a motor vehicle crash with a silver SUV.

Both vehicles pulled over after the crash. The 19-year-old man got out of his vehicle and walked to the passenger side of the silver SUV when a man in the passenger seat pulled out a gun and shot him.

EMS took the 19-year-old man to an area hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

Around 9:45 p.m. Mobile Reserve officers spotted the silver SUV in The Ville neighborhood and pulled it over in the 4000 block of St. Louis.

A 57-year-old man was in the front passenger seat and a gun was found near the front passenger seat.

A 46-year-old woman was driving the silver SUV and she was found in possession of suspected narcotics.

Both the man and woman were arrested without incident and the gun was seized.
