District 4 Detectives need help locating the man pictured below and his vehicle. He is wanted for a shooting on May 20, 2025 in the 2600 block of N. Jefferson.
A preliminary investigation revealed that shortly before 2:45 p.m., officers received a call for a shooting at the location. Upon arriving, they located a male victim who reported he was involved in an argument over money with a 48-year-old suspect, Charlie Simpson. During the argument, Simpson produced a pistol and fired several shots towards the victim.
The victim was not injured during the shooting. However, the victim’s dog, which was sitting in the victim’s car, was struck by the gunfire. The dog died at the scene.
Suspect Simpson fled the scene in a silver Ford Escape with a license plate of TF6D9Z. He is considered armed & dangerous.
