District 6 is investigating a shooting that left a 29-year-old woman injured on July 15 in Baden.
Shortly before 5 a.m., officers received a call for a shooting in the 8400 block of Gast. Upon arriving, they located the 29-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound. EMS responded and transported the woman to the hospital where she was listed in critical but stable condition.
A preliminary investigation revealed the 29-year-old woman was involved in an argument with a 26-year-old woman. During the dispute, the 26-year-old woman shot the 29-year-old woman.
A 27-year-old woman who was not involved in the argument hid the 26-year-old woman inside her home. Officers were able to take the 26-year-old woman into custody and arrested the 27-year-old woman for attempting to hide the 26-year-old woman from police. The investigation remains ongoing.
