Homicide Detectives continue their investigation into the unsolved homicide of 18-year-old Demetrius Golliday, Jr. and are seeking public assistance.
On January 27, 2023, officers were called to a shooting in the 3200 block of N. 19th Street. Upon arriving, they located Demetrius in the street suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. EMS responded and transported Demetrius to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased. There have been no leads in the case that have led to the identity of a suspect or motive behind the shooting.
