District 5 is investigating a robbery that happened on November 24 in the 5800 block of Selber Court.
A 28-year-old man told officers he had exited an apartment when he heard an unknown voice yelling at him, which he ignored. The man said he was then struck in the back of the head with an unknown object.
The 28-year-old man said he then began to fight six male suspects when one of them retrieved a firearm, pointed it at him and demanded his wallet. The man said he relinquished his wallet and then all six suspects fled in an unknown direction.
The man sustained scrapes to his hands but refused medical attention. The investigation is ongoing.
