Homicide Detectives are investigating a shooting incident that happened on August 19, 2025 in the North Riverfront neighborhood.
Just before 10:50 p.m., officers received a call for a shooting at North Broadway & Pope Avenue. Upon arriving, they located a 31-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. EMS responded and transported the man to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
While on scene investigating, officers learned a second victim, a 29-year-old woman, had arrived at a hospital with gunshots wounds. She was listed in stable condition.
