Fourth District Detectives need help identifying and locating the pictured male suspect who is wanted in connection to a shooting in Midtown.
Around 2 a.m. on August 20, 2025, officers received a call for a shooting that occurred in front of an apartment building in the 300 block of S. Grand Blvd. Upon arriving, they located a 23-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The 23-year-old man told officers he did not know who shot him or what transpired leading up to being shot. However, a review of surveillance footage revealed the below pictured suspect as the shooter in this incident. The suspect fled from the scene after the shooting. He is described a black male and was wearing a grey/dark-colored hooded jacket, a white t-shirt, a black ‘manpurse,’ light blue jeans, and possibly black and white tennis shoes. He is considered armed & dangerous.
The 23-year-old man was transported to the hospital where he was listed in critical condition. The investigation remains ongoing.
