Update:
The deceased man has been identified as 65-year-old Roderick Ferguson of the 2900 block of Chippewa Street.
Homicide detectives are investigating a homicide that happened on January 8 in Kingsway West.
Shortly before 5:30 p.m., officers received a call for a shooting at Union Boulevard and Dr. Martin Luther King Drive. Upon arriving, they located a man in his 60s in the street and with a gunshot wound to his head. EMS responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
