UPDATE: Detectives Seeking Information About Woman Found Dead

UPDATE: Detectives assigned to the Investigative Services Division are requesting assistance investigating a woman’s death.

Monyiah Holman, 27, was found dead on October 3, 2025, just after 10 a.m. in the 7600 block of Hall Street. She was located by a utility worker in a vacant lot.

At this time, her death has not officially been ruled a homicide, but the circumstances surrounding her death are under investigation.

On Friday, October 3, 2025, just after 10:00am, District 6 officers responded to the 7600 block of Hall Street after a utility worker located a body in a vacant lot.

Officers arrived on scene and located an adult female, who was not conscious and not breathing. EMS responded and pronounced the female dead on the scene. The cause of death was not immediately clear.

The City of St. Louis Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the scene and took possession of the body. An autopsy will be conducted at a later date.

The female has not been identified and next of kin has not been notified.
