On November 1, 2025, just before midnight, District 4 officers responded to I-64 eastbound for a Person Struck on the highway. When they arrived, they located a male, unconscious and not breathing just west of the Bernard Street exit. The man died on scene.
Accident Reconstruction investigators were called to the scene and conducted an on-scene investigation. Preliminary details suggest the man was a pedestrian on the highway and struck by several vehicles that did not stay on scene.
