Crash Leaves Three Injured in Vandeventer Neighborhood

Accident Reconstruction has assumed an investigation into the cause of a crash on November 4, 2025 in the Vandeventer neighborhood.

Shortly before 1:30 p.m., officers received a call about an accident that occurred at Page Boulevard and Whittier Street. A preliminary investigation revealed a Toyota Avalon was traveling southbound on Whittier Street. As the Toyota entered the intersection, it struck the left side of a Chevy Equinox that was traveling eastbound on Page Boulevard. The collision caused the Chevy to roll over. Both vehicles came to a rest near the southeast corner of the intersection. It has not yet been determined which vehicle violated the red electric signal.

The driver of the Chevy, a 31-year-old man, was transported to the hospital and listed in critical but stable condition. A 19-year-old male, who was an occupant of the Avalon, was taken to a hospital and listed in critical but stable condition. A third male, 19, was also injured and listed in stable condition; however, it is unclear at this time which vehicle he was occupying.

An investigation into the cause and circumstances of the accident remains ongoing.
