UPDATE: The man has been identified as 58-year-old Dennis Ash. The victim’s family has been notified.
On Wednesday, November 26, 2025, around 10:50pm, District 3 officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of Gravois for an Accident, Person Struck. When they arrived, they located a 58-year-old man who had been struck by a vehicle.
The 58-year-old man was taken to the hospital by EMS, where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating.
The SLMPD Accident Reconstruction Unit was called to the scene and is handling the investigation.
