The members of our Homicide Division work countless hours to solve arguably some of the most heinous crimes. Often the best clues and most helpful physical evidence are gathered in the hours immediately after the crime. As time goes by, cases become more difficult to solve. Additionally, individuals believe that the little information they have is not important or that investigators might already have the information.
As cases are added to this page, we encourage anyone with any information, no matter how small it seems, to contact our Homicide Division or CrimeStoppers. It could be the missing key our investigators need to solve these cases.
Little Jane Doe
02/28/1983
Little Jane Doe discovered headless and bound at the wrists in 1983 in the basement of an abandoned building in the 5900 block of Clemens. She remains unidentified.
Mokeia Wright
07/29/1992
Mokeia was located deceased inside a vacant house on July 29, 1992 in the 3900 block of West Belle Pl.
Larry Harris
Murdered 09/20/2021
Harris was located outside at N. 9th & Brooklyn suffering from gunshot wounds and died at the scene.
Richard Walters
Murdered 10/02/2021
Walters was located on a porch suffering from gunshot wounds in the 4400 block of Red Bud and died at the scene.
Andar Smith
Murdered 12/28/2021
Smith was located suffering from gunshot wounds in the 4900 block of Claxton and died at the scene.
Tieryn Dilworth
Murdered 05/25/2019
Dilworth was located suffering from a gunshot wound at Union & Dr. Martin Luther King and died at the scene.
Tony Brown
Murdered 7/15/2022
Brown was found suffering from a gunshot wound in 1300 block of S. 10th St. He died at the hospital.
Montez Haines
Murdered 7/09/2022
Haines was found on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds in the 4200 block of N. Grand and died at the scene.
Jamar Adams
Murdered 8/02/2022
Adams was located outside in the 1500 block of Cass suffering from gunshot wounds and died at the scene.
Kristopher Blanton
Murdered 8/21/2022
Blanton was located outside in the 5900 block of Theodore suffering from gunshot wounds and died at the scene.
Jahshua Foster
Murdered 8/22/2022
Jahshua was located on the sidewalk in the area of Lee & OBear suffering from gunshot wounds.
Damion Baker
Murdered 7/03/2022
It is believed Baker interrupted several subjects attempting to steal his car in the 800 block of Cerre before he was fatally shot. His female acquaintance was also shot during the incident.
