District 5 is investigating a business robbery that happened on November 26 in the 4400 block of Forest Park Avenue.
A preliminary investigation revealed an unknown male suspect entered the Batteries Plus store at approximately 4 p.m. and requested assistance with a purchase. While being helped, the suspect pulled out a handgun and then demanded the employees open the cash register. When the employees refused, the suspect took merchandise and then left the store on foot.
