Delivery Driver Robbed in Dutchtown

3rd District Detectives are investigating after a man was robbed while making a delivery in the 3100 block of Keokuk on December 17th.

Police received a call around 3:30PM for a “Hold Up, Just Occurred.” When officers arrived, they met with the delivery driver who stated as he was returning to his delivery van from dropping off a package, he observed a younger male, wearing all black clothing, leaning against his van.

The delivery driver stated as he approached the van, the unknown male suspect announced a robbery and displayed a large handgun.  The unknown male suspect stole the delivery driver’s cash and Black & Mild cigars before fleeing northbound on foot.

The delivery driver was not injured during this incident and District 3 Detectives are investigating.
