District 6 detectives are investigating a shooting that left a 44-year-old injured.
Officers were called to the 5900 block of Sherry around 11:36 a.m. on June 16 for a shooting.
The victim was inside his residence with several other individuals playing with a CO2 powered BB gun, firing numerous rounds throughout the house.
The suspect, who the victim only knows by first name, produced a real handgun and shot the victim in the right leg.
The suspect left the residence prior to police arriving. EMS transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.
