District 5 officers responded to a Hold Up at the Domino’s located at 802 N. Kingshighway shortly after 10:00 p.m. on July 13.
An employee was outside of the rear door of the business when a man in dark clothing, wearing a white medical type mask, ran up to her and displayed a handgun. He announced a robbery and forced the employee inside of the business.
The suspect demanded the employee open the safe. When she told the man that she did not have access to the safe, he threatened to harm another employee if she did not open the safe.
The female employee again told the suspect that she did not have access to the safe and the suspect demanded she open the cash register.
He stole cash from the register before running out the back door of the business.
