District 4 is investigating a robbery that happened around 6:40 p.m. on December 15 in the 1500 block of Cass.
A 16-year-old male told officers he was with a “female friend” who was fighting with another female. During the fight, the 16-year-old said an unknown male suspect ran up to them and assaulted him. The 16-year-old said the male suspect then produced a pistol, pointed it at him and demanded everything in his pockets.
The 16-year-old said he relinquished his phone and other property. The male suspect and the two females then fled from the scene, according to the 16-year-old.
The 16-year-old said he was not injured and declined medical attention. The investigation is ongoing.
