District 6 officers responded to a Shooting-Prior after a 16-year-old male arrived at an area hospital with a gunshot wound around 7:15 p.m. on October 25.
The 16-year-old was driven to the hospital in a Nissan Rogue that had apparent ballistic damage. He told officers he was a passenger in the vehicle as he and friends were driving around the area of Switzer and Robin.
Suddenly they heard gunshots and the 16-year-old realized he had been shot. His friends drove him to the hospital. The 16-year-old was listed in critical/stable condition.
A scene was located in the 1200 block of Switzer.
