District 4 officers responded to a Hold Up at N. Broadway and Florida around 3:30 p.m. on August 16.
A 49-year-old man told officers he was walking on N. Broadway near Florida when he was approached by a man and a woman.
The man had a baseball bat and started striking the 49-yera-old man while the woman pointed a firearm at him. The man and woman took jewelry from the 49-year-old man before leaving the area.
The 49-year-old man was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
The investigation is ongoing.
