District 6 is investigating a carjacking that happened around 4:40 a.m. on November 7 in the 4800 block of Penrose.
A 43-year-old man told officers he was sitting in his 2023 Kia K5 in the rear of a residence when two males wearing dark clothes and ski masks approached in a dark colored sedan. The man said the suspects ordered him out of his Kia at gunpoint to which he complied.
The suspects fled in the man’s Kia which was followed by the dark colored sedan the suspects originally pulled up in. The investigation is ongoing.
