Man Cut by Two Suspects in Dutchtown

District 1 is investigating a cutting incident that left a 37-year-old man injured on September 11 in Dutchtown.

At approximately 2:25 a.m., officers were called to a residence in the 4200 block of Virginia where the 37-year-old man was located bleeding from his arm. The man told officers he was laying in his bed when he heard someone enter his apartment though the door was locked. The man said the unknown person(s) left without taking anything.

A short time later, the man said he heard a knock at his door, and upon opening the door, two masked male suspects were there. The man said the suspects were armed with a gun and a knife.

The man said one of the suspects slashed his arm with the knife before he could close the door. The suspects fled after the incident.
