Homicide detectives are investigating a shooting that left a man dead on November 25 in the 5500 block of Thrush.
Around 10:24 a.m., officers received a shooting call at West Florissant & Thrush wherein a male suspect was still on-scene. Upon arriving, officers located the suspect, a 63-year-old man, who complied with officers’ commands and was detained. Officers then located the victim, a 51-year-old man, on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound and still conscious and breathing.
EMS responded and transported the 51-year-old man to the hospital where he died. The suspect was taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
