District 5 officers responded to a Robbery in the 5100 block of MLK at 12:30 p.m. on October 13.
A 73-year-old man told officers he was in the parking lot when he was approached by an unknown man accusing the 73-year-old of striking his vehicle and leaving the scene. The unknown man demanded the 73-year-old’s wallet. The 73-year-old man refused, and the unknown man then began assaulting him. The unknown man pulled out a gun and threatened to shoot the 73-year-old. He demanded the wallet once again and continued assaulting the 73-year-old until he was unconscious.
EMS responded and 73-year-old man suffered minor injuries.
