District 4 is investigating a robbery that happened around 11:15 p.m. on the QuikTrip parking lot in the 900 block of Vandeventer.
A 28-year-old man told officers he was outside his car on the parking lot when two male suspects approached him, pointed handguns at him, and then demanded his car keys. The 28-year-old man said the suspects went through his pockets and took his keys.
The suspects then entered the 28-year-old man’s car. At that point, the 28-year-old said a security guard came outside and after seeing the guard, the two suspects exited the car and fled from the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
