District 3 is investigating a robbery that happened around 1:30 p.m. on October 20 in the 3600 block of S. Broadway.
A 44-year-old man told officers he was walking when he was robbed by an unknown male suspect who displayed a firearm. The man said the suspect took his wallet and cell phone before fleeing the scene.
The 44-year-old man was not injured during the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
