District 6 is investigating a robbery that happened at approximately 11:30 p.m. on January 11 in the 5200 block of West Florissant.
A 40-year-old man responded to the North Patrol Division on January 12 to report this incident. He told officers he was walking back to his car on the Mitchell Express Liquor Store lot when he discovered an unknown male suspect in the back seat of his car. The man said the suspect then produced a firearm and demanded the 40-year-old’s property.
The 40-year-old gave his money and jewelry to the suspect. The suspect then exited the 40-year-old’s car and fled from the scene in a newer model white Chevrolet Malibu that was parked next to the 40-year-old’s car. The 40-year-old was not injured. The investigation is ongoing.
