District 1 is investigating a robbery that happened on March 11, 2025 in the 4300 block of S. Broadway.
A 20-year-old male told officers he was sitting behind the Conoco Gas Station around 10 p.m. when two unknown males approached him and pointed their firearms at him while announcing a robbery. The 20-year-old said he gave up his phone and Lacrosse crossbody bag to the suspects. The suspects then ran away from the scene after the incident.
The 20-year-old was not injured during the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
