District 3 is investigating a robbery wherein a 24-year-old man had his car taken on September 18 in the 3400 block of Potomac.
The man told officers around 11:50 p.m., he was parked in his 2015 Dodge Charger at the corner of Potomac & Tennessee with his driver’s window down and the ignition on. The man said he exited his car to meet some friends nearby, leaving his car keys inside.
The man said when he got to the sidewalk, a male suspect approached him from behind with a handgun and pointed it in his direction. The victim said the male suspect then entered the man’s Dodge Charger and fled from the scene.
