Man Robbed Twice on Gas Station Parking Lot

District 4 officers responded to a Hold Up-Prior at the Mobile Gas Station located at 3710 N. Grand around 9:45 p.m. on October 4.

A 26-year-old man told officers he was inside of his tan 2011 Chevrolet Equinox at pump #9 when a man with a gun got into the passenger seat. The man struck the 26-year-old in the head with the gun and demanded the keys to the Equinox.

The man took the keys to the Equinox and left the area.

The 26-year-old man told officers that he was still at pump #9 about 30 minutes later when a different person with a gun, possibly a juvenile male, ordered him out of the Equinox. The male with the gun began to drive away when the 26-year-old man held onto the back of the vehicle and was dragged across the gas station lot.

A mini-van drove north on Grand and someone inside the min-van began shooting at the 26-year-old man, who was not shot, but let go of the Equinox and fell to the ground.

Both the Equinox and the mini-van were seen driving west on Natural Bridge, away from the gas station.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Central Patrol Division at 314-444-2500 for a District 4 detective. Anyone who wants to remain anonymous and/or is interested in a possible reward can call CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS (8477).
